Thanks. Yes, some neighborhood kids and their first encounter with my old red girl, Kumara.
It was an encounter such as this with my first Irish Setter that ensured my life-long love of Irish Setters.

So many people comment on an Irish they knew when they were young and always with fondness. Memories are being formed. So special.

Thank you. She is indeed. When she sees children she makes her way to them and sits patiently for them to make the final approach. She is a sweet old girl with a gentle soul... except for the next door neighbor's German Shepherd.
