Thanks for the kind words about my Dad and his Red Bramble Gang. I have not had much luck in my search but looking at you Clancy gives me hope that I will find the dog I want. The ones I have seen would be considered small by Dad's standards and those are the only standards that matter to me. My Kiara is one of the older Red Bramble kids but she's almost 13 and still going strong! I have not been searching that hard because my Autistic son is nearing adulthood with many issue's but I need to find one soon! Im Itching for a pup to mirror Kiara and they way she is with my son.
That is my dear boy Sackett ( Sackee ) who I lost in 2010. You know, you love them all to death but some just hold a really special place. I'm sure it has as much to do with where I was at in my life at the time. He died at home in my arms while I chanted to him. I never cried so hard in my life. Funny how life is that way.
Thanks for friend request
Molly is home for good today can't wait to collect her she is my special girl I have had 2 previously but circumstances different then I was working full time
So sorry to hear of your loss. It still brings tears to my eyes when Ii think of my last Setter Lucy. It took 13 years before I started looking for another Setter.
I looked for 2 years then I came across Ed and his Redbramble line. He had a 17 year old Setter. I was impressed.
My wife and I made the trip to Long Island and came back with Abby 6 weeks old and 10lbs. Now she is 98lbs 12 years 4 months old. She loves her soft serve cone at McDonalds after going to work.
I have had other pets but Irish Setters are so special !
Again I feel for your loss.
