How many Irish Setters do you have?: 1 at the moment but hope to get a puppy soon

About Me:: I live in Nairobi, Kenya and have owned Irish Setters since 1986. Our first was a male named Guinness, who we inherited. Then followed Dusty then Dougal and now Zeb. My daughter is coming from the U.K. at Easter and we hope to purchase an Irish Setter male puppy whom she will bring with her.

I already have a question for you. I am currently based in Ireland, a country which is not really known for its tropical temperature, and my setters are already suffering from the heat if by luck we reach 20 celsius... so how can you have IS in Kenya???? I am sure they can adapt, but still, are they behaving like here, running and jumping around the all day long? or are they turning into night dogs? really interested to know about "Kenyan" setters behaviour and to see their pictures too whenever you will have a bit of the time. I must admit it had puzzled me and I was wondering if my boys were a bit on the sissy side regarding temperature. Are you intending to breed IS yourself in the future, or are you just looking for having a pup? Whatever, Easter will be a lucky time for you, and I hope you will find the time to do plenty of pictures for us!!!
