- I got my first Irish when I was in my early twenties and have been smitten with the elegant, fun-loving nature ever since. My husband also shares my passion and Rufus is the third Irish we have owned. It always lifts my spirits to walk Rufus is on the beach as his face beams with pure enjoyment.
