Hi Sandra, I too am in Cornwall. How is your bitch bred (who is her sire and dam)? If you are thinking to mate her it is probably best to go back to the breeder for advice. They should be able to advise you where best to get something to complement your bitch and advise about if she is old enough, good enough and if her hips have been xrayed and scored if they are good enough and you will certainly need some guidance if you are to mate a pra_rcd4 carrier bitch as mating her to a clear dog will mean you will have some puppies which are clear and some carriers, these will all have to be tested at weaning to find their status and the new owners advised about the condition. Quite something to take on if you are a newcomer and having your first litter but again the breeder should be able to explain all of this to you.
