About Me:: Dawn and I have a weakness for animals, especially Irish Setters, the most head strong and nose strong! breed one could ever have the privilege to share your life with. Although we share our home at present with an English and Irish setter and number of cats ...our first setter, Red dog - we had living on a steam ship at sea for 6months and we bought him from a farm in Foster upon Felling in UK to South Africa. He won many shows in Port Elizabeth in early eighties, and sadly passed away aged 13 and 8 months. We have since shared our homes with three other setters, (Patrick, is now 14.5 years and his pal Jasper an English Setter almost the same age ), before them we had Casey O"Malley who sadly died of epilepsy at 3, and at one time we had Tiffany Jane, whom we had removed from the owner due to cruelty and thus we took her in - she lived to the ripe old age of 15 years.

We sadly think that our wonderful boys are on borrowed time, and think perhaps we have enough energy left in our lives for at least another two Setters. Our son in Chicago has a beautiful female Irish Setter called Holly.
