CRUFTS 2010 - photos irish setters

TOFFEE'S PUPPIES ARE 1 YEAR OLD TODAY

Time flies, we still remember when the puppies of Toffee were born (just before last Crufts), we still remember all the problems Toffee was going through....and its already 1 year ago. Today Toffee's "angels" turn 1 year. Yesterday we made a small party for them, first photo posing and cake... later a nice walk on our fields.

Another birthday party :) Odi and Dindy turned 8 today

Today is the special day for Odi, he turnes 8 years - new chapter in his life - from today Odi joins the veterans ;))))

This year we have also Odi's sister here - Dindy - so an occassion for a double party :))))

Birthday cake is a little bit less fancy than the one from Laura, but I assure you dogs loved it!!!!!! Didny tried to keep it all for herself, but after a short negotiation she agreed to share it with the rest :)

Diervilla puppies 7,5 weeks old

Toffee's puppies 4,5 weeks old

Just a short update on Toffee's pups. On Wednesday I rushed back home earlier than normal to make some new photos (first time outside), We had a lovely sunny day, spring is really there. We did some first attempts to make standing photos.....and lesson no.1 for Diervilla group photos ;))))))))

Toffee's puppies 3,5 weeks old

Some of you know already the story of our struggle for Toffee's life. After the whelping everything seemed to be OK, Toffee had milk, started feeding the puppies and seemed to be bit tired but fine. Usually the bitch is "cleanig herself" few day after the whelp. But with Toffee the bleeding started. It was comming from the inside of her uterus. TOFFEE'S PUPPIES BORN 1st March 2009

Yesterday night Toffee (Romarne Hope) has whelped 8 puppies. We were hopeing for not too big but equal litter. She seemed to be not very big before whelping, so we counted on 6 and kept fingers crossed for 3/3 or 4/2 (girls/ boys). Our lovely Toffee has fulfilled our hopes (that is her name after all ;)))) so first came ...... a bitch.....then a 2nd one....then 3rd one......then 4th one :))))) Later she pushed out 2 boys.....and another girl.......and… Continue
