I have just had a very rude phone-call from the people that own Tally basically telling me to mind my own business and not giving me the opportunity to say anything, I did manage to say that we had discussed the fact that if they were going abroad to please let me know, and was told that it wasn't my business where they went. And then she put the phone down on me...
Telling me that 'the dog' was in a boarding kennel. (this wasn't mentioned in any of the reports) and that they would be… Continue

I was watching the news this morning. Something that I don't normally do. There was an article about the Libyan problem...and a couple that had gone out just last year to work..and now they have be repatriated but the Oil company that the husband was working for..
To my shock, I recognised the person that I had sold a puppy to 18 months ago, and what was even worse, is that they were saying that they had left their pet dog behind in Libya....this… Continue

Saffy is 5 years old today, she is now hopefully fully mature, though if you saw her and her son together you would question that.
In June she gained her KC Stud book number at her first Championship show since having the puppies, I am so proud of her.
She has stamped her 'Extavert' temperement on all her babies, most people here on ES know what they are like, (so good for the ring, but difficult to live with) she was always a 'naughty girl' in the ring… Continue

I would like to put out a comment to the people of Iceland, and our members that are there, I do hope that they and their dogs will be safe re the Volcanic eruption on the Island
We have all our airports closed and some are complaining about that,
I do hope that people will be sympathetic and realise how difficult it must be for the people of Iceland. I think that I can speak for most on this site and say… Continue

I would just like to thank everyone who has been so kind and supportive, over the past few months, re Saffys litter, I am so thrilled with them, there will be a few in the ring next year, (I think one will be in the ring in next month) so they will I hope live up to their expectations.
I wouldn't have been able to get through the feeding and cleaning without everyone's support and hummer. The puppies have all turned out for me, absolutely wonderfully, they are such an even litter, and it… Continue

Just like to thank everyone, so far, that have commented on our 'baby pictures' I will be boring everyone with more over the next few weeks, before they go to their 'forever homes.' The official standing pictures will be done next week...I hope that they will oblige.
They have moved down stairs to the living room and have suddenly become pooing machines, but are now almost completely weaned, so have become lovely little baby Setters. Thanks again for all those wonderful comments Dee and… Continue

Only a few days after her 8th birthday Jas went BEST VETERAN IN SHOW at the Irish Setter Club Of Scotland's 75th anniversary show, someone has just said that she is like a good bottle of wine, she just gets better the older she gets. Its nice to know that the judges out there think the same as me....
