We will be going to Scotland in about 10 days. I know it is crazy at that time of the year, but we have to bring some dogs over. I have seen this country in summer and fall, but now I will be seeing it in almost winter. Hopefully without blizzard and hail storms.

I am curious how Celt is going to like the weather in his home country. By the looks he seems pretty doubtfully looking into the future. But he will come back with us again, not to worry.

Excellent Silvia! Hope you'll have a great trip! Well, at the moment there are no blizzards and hail storms but it's beautiful and sunny weather with groundfrost. Wonderful day today, actually. But as you probably know, the weather can change at any time here :-) I have no doubt Celt will love it here!

I have no problem with the cold, but we will be going right into the mountains near Huntly and then probably visit Uncle Bill in Inverness - it is far up, isn't it. Well, yes, John O'Grotes is further, and I have been there in summer and it was cold and windy. Would not want to do that now! We go in our camper!

Thank you! We have already tried out the heating - IT WORKS WELL! We have been travelling in the camper in winter before, but never so far. But in lots of snow last year. Snow and ice, that was not funny. We get the winter tires I think on Wednesday and Sunday we will be meeting a friend in Nuremberg. That means we will be in Britain by Monday night. We always cross late as the ferry is much cheaper then. So this week I will have lots to do, checking the microchips, and preparing everything for the tour. And I will do a lot of crying as Archie is going back home and we love him so much. But so does his owner. She too misses him. I am so thankful that we were able to have him here for the last year and two months.
