HOD, heart thief, and the best thing that happened to me...

All in one very beautiful red package.

My baby is almost 6 month now and together we've had to fight our way through illness (both of us) and hardship but it's really made us form a strong bond. He was diagnosed with hypertrophic Osteodystrophy at 4 months and I thought I was going to lose him. He recovered very well and was doing brilliantly but he's relapsed a few days ago. Hopefully he will be okay. I love him so much. He's my little shadow. He goes everywhere with me. I adore this dog!!
Anyone with HOD experience? The vets call him a beautiful disaster. Poor boy. He's my disaster though. Wouldn't trade him for the world. He's so so smart, knows so many tricks already. Now I'm boasting ha!

Hi Becky. So sorry to hear of your boy's illness. I admit to not knowing what it is so had a quick look on the internet. It sounds horrendous. I wish you and your little red heart thief all the very best and hope he recovers quickly this time round.

Hi Sue, thank you for your kind words. He seems to be doing better but you know what our reds are like, so very sensitive. He really looks so sorry for himself when he's sick. Thankfully all feels better with snuggles. He seems to be doing well today so hopefully he will be fine. Thank you again

sometimes people in this site says that the most fragile of puppies seems to end up in the most lovely hands.. as if they knew in which home they will have the most of love and care... and this little angel is certainly beloved with you ..
