Fleetwood Farm's I BELIEVE IN LUV had her puppies New Years Eve into New Years morning! However, only two of the puppies are male, IRISH BEAUTY is about to deliver also, so I'm going to see how many boys are in her litter. If there aren't enough males for the requests ahead of us, then I'll be getting a girl. Either is fine, I was just leaning toward a male. So I'll still have a new addition the last of Feb or first of March! Yippee! What personality differences have you experienced between male and female IS's?

Hi don't know anything about this site, a setter friend of mine said have a look and I do recognise a couple of names of breeders of Irish that I know. Our first Setter was a rescue, he was beautiful but on the small side for 1 year old. He was great and so clever we have has several setters both dogs and bitches, no mad ones. I don't know how it is in the US but when people see you have a setter they always assume the dogs are mad and scatty. We behave never had one of those. Bracken is on his own at the moment, we did have a lovely bitch Lena she was 15 Bracken misses her and of course we do too.
I will post some pictures when I have time to sort some out.
All the best

Valerie

Thank you Valerie, I'm sorry to hear about Lena, but what a long life : )  U.S. has had some lines of scatty Irish also, especially in the '70's/80's but there have been strong efforts to re-establish temperament in the breed. : )

Kimberly you can bore me with your puppy talk, our daughter has a new human baby and our daughter in law is due with her human baby.....hmmmmmm. I have to be so careful as I sooooooo adore furbabies:)))) My friends that aren't doggy ask where the brag book is? Im thinking of photo shopping my Irish girls Ruby and Poppy onto the babies.......lol. :)))) so keep up the cute photos and I was thinking too, Ruby and Poppys granddad is a American champion, so there's a little of your home country in my back yard. Take care Dianne and Irish x

Awesome Dianne! Thanks for the ear!  Funny about the brag book! The babies will get older and you'll be incorporating them with your furbaby activities......that's what I plan to do anyway! lol
