Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Romeo. He was compassionately given peaceful sleep in order to prevent suffering, and passed gently whilst held in our arms. Our fantastic journey with the dog of a lifetime has come to an end but he lives on forever in our hearts and minds, and now waits patiently for us on the other side. Many tears have been shed during the great difficulty of letting him go, but there are no regrets as we have done everything possible to give him a great life during the wonderful time we have had together. So, Romeo, thank you for the privilege of your love and companionship and the absolute joy of sharing your life. Run free our darling until we meet again.
I am so very sorry James ....
I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful Romeo, he was Mulligan's great grandfather who is so much like him. My heart goes out to you. May the shamrocks fall softly around him. If you would like me to add him to the In Memory section of my web site I would be honoured to do so. Just mail me with photos and a tribute. Thinking of you.
What a wonderful tribute so heartfelt and honest. Its true they v much share and shape your life. To have the love of a red is something else and the parting almost unbearable. With a lump in my throat and tears for your loss and for mine (my boy age 13 died in October) I can say that I truly understand how you feel. Take care. x
Oh no, James I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. You must have so many wonderful memories of such a gorgeous boy. May they help you through. Run free dear Romeo.
James I'm so sorry. I just now read your wonderful
tribute to Romeo and my heart hurts for you all. Romeo
left his paw prints in your heart with everyday you
shared......and knew you did everything you could
to give him a wonderful, joy filled life. The loss of our
loved Irish Setters always hurts but I do believe you
carry Romeo with you everyday in the wonderful
memories you all made together. Hugs to you all and
May the shamrocks fall softly on Romeo.
