Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
Hey, just to let you know that a few of us hope to met at camber sands tomorrow, around 12-1pm for a walk on the sand dunes and a swim (dogs only, since is quite cold;).
The idea has circulated in the group "setters in the south east" but I though is nice to post it here in case somebody in the area wish to join :))
sorry for the short notice: it was very difficult to find a day that fits and most of the messages have been circulated in the subgroup! hope to see a lot of lovely and happy dogs tomorrow!
s
Hope you all have a great day out and the weather is kind take lots of photos
thanks Martina! And, for the others, I think we plan to met at the car park in Old Lydd Road say about 12.30, but watch the blog in the "setter in the south east" group for updates, since plans are still being made ! so far we count KC and Errol, Lois McCullough, Charlotte Beeney, us, and probably Susie Lyus will add some IRWS color:)
Best wishes for a very enjoyable meet!
Just to say that the red boys (and their owners) had much fun at their first Setter South East meeting at Camber Sands last Sunday. Charlotte Beeney's pictures tell the story very beautifully. Do have a look at some very hairy and sandy boys! However, in all the excitment we forgot to take a group photo... Nevermind. Hopefully we'll be able to repeat the meeting (maybe once a year?) and other Reds and their owners will be able to join us then.
Ohh, I never even thought of a group photo! How silly. The walk was very fun, and it was lovely to see how much alike Finn is to the other boys. Not seeing many Setters around here I had nothing to compare to, but you can see the same personality running through all of them! (naughty little beggars :P)
KC, I agree that the meeting must be repeated but once a year sounds far too far between ;)
