Urgent home needed

Hi everyone. This is Vikra. She is a four year old English Setter who was left into Longford Dog Pound through no fault of her own, (in my opinion). She has a lovely temperament and is used to children. Unfortunately she is deaf.

She has been removed from the Pound as they do could not see any chance of rehoming her and she would have been put to sleep.

The reason she was left in the pound by her family, was that she was fast asleep in her basket, when a child ran in and jumped on her. Naturally Vikra jumped up, but snapped. She did not connect with the child, luckily, but the owners were not willing to take a chance.

I am sure that Vikra would make a lovely pet, in an adult household, where they are aware of her condition and can deal with it accordingly.

Sheree, one thing is certain. There will always be a constant flow of dogs needing help. One day last year, I collected two Reds and two R&Ws from the Dog Pound in Tipperary. Last week I rehomed two Cocker Spaniels.

Trudy, that is so wonderful.  What a beautiful happy ending. 

I am so happy that Vikra has a lovely, new forever home.  Thankyou for all that you have done for this beautiful girl.
