Hi Gayle.
Welcome from us too. We are from Melbourne Australia. Your Setters are beautiful. I have two Setter girls, one Irish and one English. We got them both as baby puppies together, and they are now turning 7. Tess is having her birthday tomorrow and Megg, my English Setter will turn 7 in February.

Again welcome. I'm sure you will enjoy this site very much. It's lots of fun.

Lynn, Tess (Irish) and Megg (English) from Australia.

Hi Gayle,
Great to see your photos. I love the shot with the 4. My 2 girls sleep with me also, it must be an irish setter trait, they love comfort! I love the Wendover lines, both my girls have it throughout their lines.
Regards Di

I know where your are coming from as to the ruptured uterus, I was told that my young girl had that, in my case it was lucky she didn't actually have anything wrong with her uterus....but they still opened her up....
Is your girl out of Wendover Lorna??? by Intrepid??? if she is, she is my girls Aunty.
Really sorry to hear that she has had that kind of problem, was it a 'Closed Pyometera' (not sure how to spell that) It is a difficult thing to get to the bottom of, you don't have any external visualisation, very difficult to notice, usually until it is too late, so you were very lucky, I hope she is going to be OK. I am sure with all your T.L.C. that she will be fine.
Hope to speak soon. Please let me know how she progresses, Dee and the girls

Hi Gayle,
thanks for the info. I was only going to enter one girl under him and my very naughty labrador. My boy is still growing coat and my other girl is in pup. Due to whelp on the 1st April. She is on Dogzonline...not a good photo taken when she was very young. Shadowvale Truely Magik...have mated her to Silvagem First Edition. Scan showed 8 pups with ?2 more up under her ribs. She is 2 1/2 years old and on 77points. In oz you need 100 to be a champion. Haven't shown her much and we are up against all american dogs...so can't complain..
Love your dogs. Especially the photo around the Christmas tree.
Will let you know how we go.

Hi Gayle,
Ruby was the only entry and my lab won her class but didn't go any further. Probably wouldn't give him another entry,

Carmel

Hi Galye,Yes we seem to be in for a lot of snow again this winter,,where I live I look over the Penine's and into Manchester,so sometimes I can see the snow comming it's like a curtain its really very pretty, but then it turns to slush and very wet. .My Schipperke's are lost in it ,at just 10in's high they soon vanish. They are the next best thing to setters and just right for me..If I dont speak to you again before Christmas,HAVE A GOOD ONE..Take care Pat xx

Hi Gayle, thanks for your kind words on Bridget.

Sorry to hear that you are moving.  I hope things work out for you and your family.

Are you going far north on the North Island?  My hubby Paul and I have been thinking about coming over to NZ later in the year.  I've been told to come over for the first week of November when there are big shows in the South.  Do you think you will come down for those shows?

I look forward to hearing about Strider's wins!

I know the heat plays up with the red dogs skin over here sometimes.  I hope Richmond is doing better now.

chat soon

Cheryl
