He was off the lead again today at Wat Tyler country park. He was well behaved. He does like to roll in smelly things. Three times he rolled in fox poo when he was off the lead and after putting him back on the lead, he had another roll. He also had a bath as soon as we got home. He was stinking.

Is it his own cure against fleas and parasites???  :-)  need to have a lot of fragrance shampoos now  :-)

I think it could be Chantal. It is like a magnet to him. He hates to be clean and smelling nice. His scruffy girlfriend Cassie has never done it.

Andy my Shannon will roll in birds poo swan poo dogs poo you name and she's in it you think she would learn cause its straight home then a cold hose to get it all of .

They never learn Martina.

One of our previous Irish setters was the same. On one occasion she rolled in a large dead bird that was full of maggots and my wife had to pick them out of her coat. Our other dog Cassie (the scruffy Labradoodle) has never been interested in rolling in smelly things, thank god.
