Unfortunately Aoife is not really an 'oldie'. She will be seven in August and has been greying for at least two years.. She just worries a lot! Her brother Milo has also gone prematurely grey.
I am like Val, sucker for oldies.... and your comment was interesting Lesley. Do you think the worriness does affect the greyness? Looking at some oldies on ES I am wondering why some are old and hardly grey, for instance Dudley duke of Lancester... lucky them!

Both of these "oldies" are Rua's children and Rua also went grey quite young, but Rua is not a worrier!! I believe it is just down to genetics;o)))
I was only joking about Aoife worrying a lot! I agree with Carmel it is genetic or perhaps just individuals. The only thing I have noticed over the yearss is that if they ever have to have a general anesthetic they sometimes get a bit greyer afterwards. But again it depends on the individual and as Aoife has never had any operations that is not the cause. She doesn't know she's grey and shows no other signs of aging. Still hurtles about like a mad thing and goes mental with a squeaky toy at teatime (not breakfast don't know why)!

I just think it comes from Rua's side , as her mother also went grey quite young and as far as I know, her grandmother too;o)) But Megan takes after her father and is not very grey at all;o)) But, as you say it doesnt affect their puppy like attitude;o))))
