Beautiful photo
Must be magical to be able to just watch these 2 together.
My thoughts exactly Rhonda, fantastic that Harley is so gentle with Bluebell
Love this!
Ha ha. This reminds me of when i first brought Bailey home when he was 8 weeks old.He saw Jasper our cat and thought 'hmm that looks interesting wonder if he'll play with my ball?' he playfully rolled his ball over to jasper with his nose and was really miffed when jasper just gave him that look-the way cats do..lowly dog dont bother me.. and walked off.lol.Poor Bailey.
Oh brilliant! Poor Bailey!
Sadly, Bluebell passed away a couple of weeks ago. Harley was the one who alerted me to it, I'd gone and checked on her an hour before and she was fine. Let Harley in to the garden and he went round to her cage and started barking and whining so he obviously knew something was wrong. It was old age that claimed her but bless Harley, when I went to lift her out of her cage to bury her he was snuffling her and pawing at her as much as to say 'wake up!'.
They adored each other, she used to lick and snuffle his nose and he'd do the same for her. I've never known another dog so gentle with a prey animal before, he just seems to look at every animal as a possible playmate and friend!
Aww i'm so sorry Julia (. You have some beautiful photos and fond memories there to remind you.Setters are so wonderful always happy and so sensitive too.Bluebell had a lovely friend X
What a great picture! Looks like HE wants to play!
