Ah, Cragg Vale - finally! And so beautiful too - those look like excellent gundog training areas if you can find someone to take you and your (future) setter up there! Not bad for a Border Terrier either;-))

It is indeed an excellent gundog training area, Susan - in fact, we met a farmer just the other week who had two working Irish Setters in his van - he says they are out on the hills all day with him! It is fabulous for walks as well - apart from the vast amount of sheep there are scattered around! At the moment, Buddy is scared of sheep (long may it last!), so we have no problem with him; I imagine our setter pup will need some strict instruction that sheep are not to be played with! He's arriving in September - can't wait!!
