- About Me:
- Absolutely dedicated to the breed, along with English Setters.
Born in England, I moved to Australia as a child, and in my teens started importing Irish Setters from Wendover Kennels, and English Setters from Suntop Kennels. My latest Irish imports in 2004, and now in 2009 are from the beautiful Copper's Kennel in Sweden.
I am a qualified Championship Judge for All Gundogs and the Non Sporting Group, and an Open Show Judge for all Toys, Terriers and Hounds.
My judging takes me all over the world, something I enjoy immensely.

THEY ARE INDEED MORE THAN GOLD!!!
We decided to surgically inseminate Amhurst Ballyguerin, with the same "Ibsen" semen we used with Lupin. Everything was done the same way, but very, very disappointingly, Guerin has not conceived.

GOODNIGHT DARLING BUMBLE
It is with great sadness, we say Goodbye, to our beloved home-bred Labrador, Bumble, Aust Ch Burberry Bumble Bee (NRD).
How quickly, the last fourteen and a half years seem to have gone, and we just Thank Bumble for sharing our lives, and giving us so much laughter,love and happiness.
Truly the most wonderful ambassador for the breed, we are honoured to have bred and owned her, and everyone who met Bumble, just adored her.

LUPIN IS A MOTHER!
Lupin is the proud mother of eight babies - 3 girls and 5 boys, born yesterday afternoon, 12th November.
We are eternally grateful to the two wonderful vets involved, both here and in Sweden, and to Camilla, and to Everyone out there on Exclusively Setters, who have given us so much support.
For some reason, I cannot download photos on to this Blog, but some can be viewed on My Photos.
Updates will happen, so stay tuned!

Glad you liked the new photo I added - I can still remember the show.
Your puppies are looking simply gorgeous and I bet you are enjoying every moment;-))
I am adding a couple of video's - taken with my mobile phone - of a walk with my boys - I have dedicated a small path in the woods and called it the Monty walk - it's a short cut that Monty enjoyed very much when he was older and couldn't walk so far. In the spring the bluebells are out in abundance and it's simply a fabulous walk.

Melinda Auld said… - Talk about the ups and downs of canine companionship...from the joy of Lupin's gorgeous litter to this awful news about Bumble. You know she had such a great life, and gave you and John so much joy. It is what it is all about, in the end. And the joy we get from them never seems greater than when we watch them simply enjoying life the way we should do every day. Bumble certainly enjoyed life! They teach us so much, don't they? It is the worst thing about dogs, that they just don't seem to ever live long enough. Bumble was a special, lovely girl.
