Hobson grieving for Hammer
Even though Hobson was jealous of Hammer because Hammer needed so much love from me, Hobson is missing Hammer even more than Rose. Hobson likes walking by the sea most of all but since Hammer has died he has lost interest even in this and mopes along beside me. He does not want to meet other dogs. He wants his brother back. I know Hammer wishes he was with us too. Grief is tough for all of us.

I agree with ereni, a new pup can fill a hallow hurt heart back up and overflow it with joy. You have so much love to give another dog. Don't let that go to waste.

Susan I think Ereni and Sue are more than right for all of you, especially you. One never replaces a dog, but we give a chance to another one, the same way you took your wonderful Hammer, another 4 legged friend is waiting to share his/her love with you... and this will definitely help you, hobson and rose to face the future. Whatever Susan, but I really hope you will find a way to ease a bit your sorrow and reach the point where we full our mind from happy memories.
