The Visitor is a great book with an Irish Setter featured as main charecter. The story is about a true situation where an Irish setter pup was being  boarded  at a kennel twhen tragedy strikes and ther owner never returns. The setter's emotional attachment to his master and the grieving process and subsequent time of thirteen years at the kennel are the heart of the story.  Highly recommended but have the tissues handy!
