My other passion is books, and I worked in one of Australia's top bookshops for many years.We were lucky enough to meet a number of authors, and I have a huge amount of children's books, some of which were collected because of the illustrations. I actually don't have children myself, but plenty of wonderful books which they would have enjoyed!

Glad to hear Kimba has fallen on her feet. I cannot understand cruelty, and Irish Setters are so sweet and innocent.
Are your parents still in the Blue Mountains? Nice part of the country.

Poor Kimba, what a start of life!!! Really happy you have her at a very healthy 30 kgs now!!! Hope the malnutrition was after her growing up period... poor girl  :-(  But, everything is going fine now, so another reason to celebrate, does she has to stay on prescription diet for ever?
