I live & work in Southwest Scotland & have owned Irish setters for twenty years. At most points in time I have owned two Irish girls but at present have one very gorgeous Irish called Hattie.
Hi Lesley
Thanks for your comments, Jinney is doing really well at the moment but as I can't pinpoint what set off the bloat I am just going to have to watch her all the time. The vet said that with the technic he used to sew her stomach in place she shouldn't twist again but I'm still going to have watch her. The dogs like the fact they get their breakfast an hour earlier now so that we go out two hours after!

Hi there Lesley
Congratulations on placing a picture on your profile that took me forever, just couldn't get the hang of it, and yet now it seems so easy, well until I come to try it again.
Your wee girl looks really happy she seems to have a smile on her face.
Congratulations again Dee and the gang
..Aw...Hattie looks very cute and a bundle of fun !! We loved Dalbeattie forest...it was one of our favourite places....are you very far from there ?? The girls are really missing all the extra exercise and are driving me nuts at the moment....!! Thinking about moving up in the not too distant future....miss having more land...and more doggies!!
Hi there Lesley
I think that you will find that there are a lot of us here that are technophobes My computer has a mind of its own, it has come so close to going through the window on many occasion, it took me ages to get pictures on the site, it is so much easier now that they have changed everything, but it is still hard the first time to do anything, thank goodness I was taught to type at school. I never thought that I would ever use it but here I am typing away like a secretary. Well that was their thoughts at school anyway...All the best can't wait for the pictures Dee and the gang
Hi Lesley...welcome to the site...it's full of lovely people and doggies...hope you will enjoy it...just spent a great holiday in your part of the world...and look forward to returning very soon...
Best wishes, Sammi , Abbi and Lola
Hi there Lesley
Nice to see you here. hope that you enjoy it, I have a puppy in your area, although its a huge area. and might I say very beautiful.
All the best from the other side of Scotland Dee and the gang
Hi Lesley
Thanks for your reply - great to know that you spoil Hattie like the rest of us on here;-)) Just a lovely age - 18 months - not too young and not too old - just perfect. What is her breeding?
Both my boys have their Kennel Club Good Citizens Gold Awards so I am pleased with them. Total adore taking them out for long runs in the countryside.
Enjoy your holiday and hope to see some photo's of Hattie soon.
