Thought you would find it of interest that we have had two Australian imports into SA in recent years, a dog Cianroninnis Lapis Lazuli of Ceannaire and a bitch Highperelle Jazz of Windrose both imported by Lynda-May Strydom.…"
Just picked up your request and am delighted to accept you as a setter friend. A bit short of time just at the moment, but will communicate further. Congratulations on your lovely Grand Champ girl. Bridget Simpson"
"NEVER desex an Irish unless it is a matter of life & death I say!
The coat will always be horrible afterwards. Irish boys are rarely dog aggressive anyway. It is the owners of the nasty males who should be making their charges behave!"
"My girls typically do not come into season at a young age. They usually start any time between 18 -26 months and then come in every 12 months. Makes it easy to plan breeding and it's actually better for their uterine health long term if they…"
"In Australia we don't have a choice. I hadn't bred for 5 years and vaguely remembered reading something about 'acceptable colours' in the journal. Before I registered the puppies I phoned and was told that Irish Setters are to be…"
I remember going to Peak Hill in late 70s with a friend. He had a junior bitch by Patrona Patrick in and I just went along for the ride. Im not sure if the showground was on the golf course or not but I definately remember a young girl…"

That is nice. I always enjoy watching the shows but we have mainly concentrated on obedience. Tess has done reasonably well, but her downfall is her shyness. She is a very quiet girl, almost 8 now, so we now just do social obedience which she enjoys. Nothing stressful. She still loves going to the club and just hanging out with her friends.
Ahh, that's interesting Marina, that Enya is a lazy girl. Tess would almost fall asleep during her long stays at dog school. Would never break a stay. Think she was sad when they were over & she had to get moving again.
I'm pleased you've looked at Tess's pics. She is a beautiful girl. We love her & my English girl Megg to bits. They are only 2 months apart in age & are very close.
