How many Irish Setters do you have?: I have four irish setters.

How long have you owned Irish Setters?: Ten years.

About Me:: I wanted a dog as long as I remember but my mum always said no. When I decided to buy a dog, I wanted an english cocker spaniel. The destiny wanted something else... I saw a notice about setterpuppies in the paper. Since the day I put my feet into the kennel Discovery garden I have been "captured" in the setterworld! And I´m so happy about it. I have the opportunity or rather the benefit to show the Kennel Discovery beautiful Irish setters, which I´m very grateful for.

Kennel Discovery´s Puppy plans......

Kennel Discovery plan puppies due to birth in the beginning of next year.

It is our princess Siofra, VDH CH C.I.E. KBHV-09 NV-09 Brilliant Bronze Siofra Little Elf who´s the mother to be. She´s a healthy bitch with b-hips and a lovely temperament. Siofras last litter (together with Clachnahar Ami Perriot) lives up to all our expectations, so far they all look beautiful and started their show career with very nice results. We are celebrating two new Copenhagen winners!

It was a lovely weekend also for us in Bröndby, Denmark! On saturday, under Laurent Pichard, Siofra was best bitch. Chippen was to fat today..... But his son Lipton won the open class and was third best male.

P.S. I am a Reiki Master and mainly use Reiki therapy on animals, it really helps to keep them calm, I will wait until Murphy is a bit older before I start him on Reiki, I should end up with one chilled out Setter!! xx

That girl you have seen is my beloved Gretel, she was the first and only Irish Red Setter bred and owned by a breeder in germany who ever have won the dutch clubshow, still got the feeling when she got the ticket of the late Judy Russell and than she got Best in Show - it's now 13 years ago, but I' ve got the feeling that it was yesterday.
Little Nice carries her name - very proud of her, I must say... . I'll show her at the "Jonge-Honden-Dag" in Holland, her first show. I let you know, if she puts the Mickey out of me..... .
