Billy - our now 16 moth old setter

Our first time with an irish setter, had him from 2 months old. Refuses car travel and shys away from our cars. Tried lots of remedies and ideas. Can only walk him in an enclosed area due to his very very poor recall - he is highly intelligent, mum was a champion in working trials. Would love some advice.

will not find a more loyal loving dog than the Irish Setter. I have owned them

for 29 years - presently have a 4 and 5 year old and two 8 week old puppies.

Have you tried any obedience classes if you are feeling useless on the recall

- they could probably help you a bit. Would love to see a picture.
