A star is left: Belgian, German, Lux. Champion Yuelynn of McBirdy

As a shooting star which disappears in the dark night, our Yuelynn left us this afternoon, by leaving a great emptiness, after having illuminated our life so much.

Our beautiful star left at the height of sky to join her friends Birdy, Dicey Dovey and Eelwenn.

Yuelynn brought so much joy and success to us, in shows, Field Trials, and at home.

She had been born from our first litter on 9.3.1999 and, as of the beginning, contributed to the fame of our breeding by collecting a very great number of successes.

She was of a great softness, and her extraordinary expression had been magnificiently collected by the German artist Gabrielle Laubinger, who immortalized her in a charcoal portrait, well-known of the amateurs of the Irish setter.

This portrait is in the center of our home, it will allow us each day to preserve an extraordinary memory of our Yuelynn

And we are certain that she transmitted her great qualities to her descent: Ch. Chickadee of McBirdy, Girly Girl of McBirdy and Glen of McBirdy.

Her children will perpetuate her memory with as much success.

So long beautiful Yuelynn.

Tears eventually will dry, but your memory will live on forever.

Merci Jean-Marc et Arlette pour votre réconfort. Nous avons bien pensé à vous et à Yendal lorsque les symptômes de la dilatation d'estomac sont apparus chez Yuelynn. Et de suite, nous avons imaginé une issue fatale.
Yuelynn a été incinérée ce matin et ses cendres ont été dispersées sur notre petit cimetière setter, près de ses amies Birdy, Dicey Dovey et Cheyenn.
C’est très particulier d’avoir ses 10 chiots pleins de vie à la maison alors que ses cendres reposent au fond du jardin. Mais c’est le destin de la vie.
