First time on a FIELD TRIAL

After 2 days of excessive training in Lohmann's fields with lots of wild partridges, many many hares and several pheasants, I decided to start a very first time on a FIELD TRIAL. Early Easter saturday saw us at the meeting point of the English Setter Club Germany's spring trial in East Germany.

My 8,5 months old LOHMANN'S ORTRUN (Chili) started in INTERNATIONAL DERBY for dogs up to 24 months. We came home with a VERY GOOD, 14 points and best Derby dog of the group !

Our newcomer LOHMANN'S MILAN, 2 1/2 ys.old and with us since january this year, made my day. He qualified with VERY GOOD 15 points and best FT dog of the group !!!

We had the honor to be judged by the president of the ES club and he had very fine remarks about my dogs. Although he normally prefers to look at Dachshund in the fields instead of IS, he made the exception for Lohmann's IS, which are always a pleasure to watch during their work.

I am very proud of my dogs !

Congratulations on this beautiful results. With hares on fields, it not really easy, is'nt it !
You have a good chance to have wild partridges on your fields.
