well Blackpool went out with a bang!!! high force winds and rain saw marquee's and tents blown away on the Sunday..lucky i was there on the Sat which was bad enough but my Sh Ch Field spaniel got the CC and Dreamer the pup got 2nd in puppy...then Wales where Whoobie got best dog and Dreamer BPIB the day was getting worse wth the winds picking up yet again and lashing rain..so decided to collect things and go home.the tannoy system was blown over into the best in show tent lucky nobody was hurt..it has been a disastrous year for shows with the awful 'summer' weather...roll on the nest show and hopefuly some sunshine

That sounds dreadful, but sooo typical for a dog show. We've had some really bad showers lately and thunderstorms. One happening right now. But generally it has been too hot to show the dogs.
