Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
This is for our Special Setter Bonnie.'Dear Bonnie Nana, when we are crying you hug us, when we have nightmares you just get in beside us and we fall asleep snuggled into your warmth. When Daddy left us you comforted us, when Mr Ginge died you were there for us. You have been there since we were born. Mummy adores you because you are always there for hugs and fun. Now you are old and feel ill, we will have you there with us, every day, always, just how you have been there for us. Love Georgia, Brodie and Mummy xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Very nice tribute for your very special Bonnie, although plenty of sadness in it too...! When they become old there are even more precious and really deserve all our love and care, I am sure Bonnie will enjoy having yours, it will help a lot during the illness. Big cuddles to Bonnie from us here.
Cuddles to you and Bonnie (",)
Thank you Chantal and Ellen, I have given Bonnie big hugs from you. She has been on the beach with us today enjoying the sun and the breeze. She enjoys her one to one time with me while the children are with dad during weekends! She gets extra fusses and so do I !!! xx
Dear Bonnie, I hope you are feeling better. afraid old age is creeping up on all your brothers & sisters too.
Promise has had pyometra but is responding to her treatment quite well, our vet agreed that spaying wasn't an option due to her age & other problems & is treating her with the Alizin injections.
Midas unfortunately died last week, he was the one we kept for a while but hated showing so went to live with a lovely family & came to board with us regularly.
Floss down in Devon is very thin but was still ok when I heard at Xmas
Jayjay is still well & at the weekend his owner told me he still tries to race around the field.
So sad when they get old & frail,
love & Kisses XXX
lovely tribute, hugs and kisses for Bonnie Nana from Bajka (almost 15)
Hi Jane and Anna, thank you for your lovely messages. Am so glad promise has responded well to treatment. It is sad when they get older but it is wonderful to hear that brothers and sisters are still around. Bonnie had Pyometra 2 years ago and was speyed. Last year she had breast cancer but has a successful mastectomy. She seems quite happy and has got into the childrens beds during this week when they have woken with nightmares or found it hard to get to sleep. We think she has a human soul, she is so empathetic and just knows how to behave in all sorts of situations. I have given her lots of hugs and kisses from you all. love dee and bonnie Nana xxxx
