Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

My very first Irish Setter, Tara, was born in December, 1971. Tara was my shadow and seemed to know what I was about to do, even before I had thought about it! We were inseparable, and I loved her to bits.
Winning well in the show ring, she also excelled at Obedience, though not the "food refusal !"
Her second and last litter, when put to my first import, Wendover Crofter, produced the top winning duo, Champion Amhurst Wimoweh CD and Champion Amhurst Aaron, who won across Australia.
Wimoweh, or Zodie, as she was called, inherited her mother's character, as can be seen dressed up in the apron. Both adored the limelight, and were great ambassadors for the breed.

Thankyou Tara, for taking me along your joyous path, and for introducing me to the wonderful world of Irish Setters.

Great photos and I particually like the one with the apron!
I would love to have a little maid around the house...on the other hand I suppose considering my own setters preference when it comes to food, I would probably skip the meals they would present me with! :-)
