Summer exhorting

I've just got that photo from my friend Swieta - Przygoda (left back) and Flinta (left front) owner.
After Halloween, when days are getting shorter and shorter that's good summer remainder.
It was taken June 24, St.John's day and evokes old Slav tradition - summer invitation. On the St. John's Eve girls plaited garlands with flowers, sang and danced around bonfires on the river. After a sunset they have thrown garlands with candles in to the river and boys were trying to catch it out. Whose garland he caught that girl became his wife:)))
Those were the days!!!
