Yet another Birthday missed....:-(

No wonder I am totally pissed off!

I was 5 years old on the 26th of july...and did she miss my birthday? She most certainly did!
Did I get a cake, like practically all other dogs on this site?
Judge for yourself.

She hardly put a lot of effort into this "special" birthday-meal did she now?
On top of it, I have my daughter laughing at me just becourse I am feeling quite depressed about it all this getting older and not even having a cake to show for it!

I am afraid I am not very good in the kitchen, so mine are probably pleased I don't bake them a cake!!
John is always making disparaging remarks about my incompetence to our friends, so much so, that when one telephoned and John told them I was in the kitchen, they asked, "Is she lost?!!!"

Dear Vilda,
this year is really rough for setters, I didn't get my birthday cake in June too. Maybe this is horrible summertime!!! when people instead of thinking of their dogs are occupied with holiday, travels and so on.
And by the way - if your mum doesn't think of you, try to find a gift for you yourself:))) In the kitchen is a lot of yummies, for sure.

Don't feel depressed, there are some Irishes in the world who's birthdays were never celebrated - shame on me!:)
To forget your sorrow try to keep yourself busy with other things like child education. Do you think it is normal that your daughter was laughing at you????? At this early age??? What's next????

Ursula, if it helps ease your pain...this year, not only did my HUSBAND forget my birthday, but we also both forgot our wedding anniversary! I remembered about a month later lol... On the positive side, I remembered Fionn's birthday, which apparently only proves where my priorities lie ;-)
