Hi! Will you come to Nowa Ruda in December? Can I put some Chili's photos on our website?

Hello,
I'd like also to meet you but Nowa Ruda is a bit too far from us. But we will keep our fingers crossed! I will not tell you 'don't worry' because I'm always nervous before shows, already from about 10 years. But there is a great advantage of having dogs with such coat as our dogs have. We don't have to spend hours with brushes, combs, hairdryers, conditioners, hairsprays etc. Good luck!

Hi Michaela. It was the pleasure for me to meet you, too. My English is also not good, but we can understand each other and that is important. Yesterday evening I tried to develop my pictures from Nowa Ruda, but something didn’t work good in my Photoshop Lightroom. So I put all the pictures on Picassa website without any selection, only compressed. You can see all what I shoot and you can load what you want. On the show we received CWC (CAC) and the best dog in breed. I am impressed because of your dogs. The real dogs for hunting and they are nice too. I think they can compete in field with pointers. We are training with Palisander in field, but we are hunting only for shooting photos. Write me if you have some problems with loading photos.
Greetings from Ewa

Dear Michaela,
I saw the pictures of Ewa made at the Nowa Ruda show. What did your dogs achieve? - although I"m not a show fan:)
Bye, Petra

Hello Petra,

Chili get a excellent 1 in Intermediate class - the result of Milan wasn't satisfying for me.

here a picture of Milan - thanks Ewa!

and here a picture of Chili - also a photo from Ewa

It was very hot & loud in the hall - and outside the ring there was not enough place to stay.

Hi Michaela,
Yes we where first on field trials. But they were really field tests which we have to pass as a hunting dogs in Poland.
Because we are not hunting, we were on one training with Mr. Molinari in May (he is one of the best trainers in Europe). We are now training for the next year. We will have field trials in Busko in April. I hope we will do, because you are right Palisander has very good genes for hunting and we can observe it each day. We don’t have experience in training and Palisander is only one. You always have to start.

Best greetings from Ewa

Dear Michaela,
first time is always the most difficult, especially on hall shows. There are always too much noise and too less place. My first show was also in hall, I was training with Fokker several months before the show but he presented something like ritual dance of primitive tribes. Now I'm trying to avoid hall shows. I'm glad you met Palisander's family! Palisander is a very special dog for me, we choose his father because of good hunting skills and exterier but it was a close shave, the mating would be impossible! Breza came in season earlier then we expected and our friend who was going to take us to Munchen, wasn't in Poland then. We hadn't a car that time and I was calling to all friends asking if they would like to have a 1000 km trip with me and Breza. And I found one man who didn't asked: 'are you crazy?!' but: 'when exactly you have to go?'. Resulted he had two days free in the right Breza's time and we made 1000 km one day and 1000 km back the next day. It was the most express mating Breza has ever had, but fortunately succesful. Of course any hunter was interested in buying IS, so I'm very greateful for Palisander's owners they are trying to make good use of his genes!

Hi, Michaela!
I think you are big specialist in training setters. On yours photos I see that you have a good contact with your dog. So maybe you can help me, because Palisander is not interested in retrieving. Our first dog liked it and we had no problem. Palisander when he wants to play, than he is retrieving, but if not, he doesn’t. The same in water , he catch object and leave it in water. What can I do?
As you know Renata has a baby and 3 dogs, so for her now, I think is difficult to work with others dogs.
I am now ordering an electronic collar because Palisander doesn’t respect deers. We have a lot of work to do till April.
It’s nice to read what Renata wrote below.
Greetings from Ewa and Palisander

Thanks Michaela, for your immediately answer. Watching yours pictures I can see that you became an expert, because you need working dogs. At least for me, but I think not only. Jonas doesn’t want to take a dummy in his mouth. But I will try again with something else. I think about pheasant’s pinions I bought once.
I agree with you , I leave far away, I thought about the same.

What was the not satisfying result of Milan?
I hope you are not frustrated because of it, it doesn't worth!

Hallo Michaela,
Don’t worry . I understand. We are before Xmas and New Year , and it’s the same with me, I have no time. We are waiting for the collar from France, than we will restart training. Without is very difficult. I hope to receive it soon, during Xmas days.
Hope to hearing from you soon.

Hallo Michaela
Esther

Hi Michaela, thanks for your comment! Greetings from Fokka for Chili. I didn't show Fokka your wonderful photos from duck hunting. She is in season now and no hunting, no training, no long walks. My husband went for hunting yesterday and told her: 'you must stay, I don't want to have small foxes here!'. So she is quite depressed now.

Hallo Michaela
vielen Dank für den Link. Sehr interessantes Video.
