Hi Dee,
Sarah is in season now, but I am not going to mated her this time, have to wait for her next season as our new house is being built and we can't move there until autumn, there will be the right place for the pups to be born :-) I am counting on a winter litter, as Sarah comes into season in 6 months periods, usually. Hope everything will go well with the whelping!!!
Have you decided what male to use on Saffy? It's not an easy job, a lot of things have to be taken into consideration, but this is one of the most interesting part of breeding - I think.
This could easily be Jas' year, she looks fab in the pictures :-)
I'll think of you on Sunday!! Good luck!
Love, Marta
Hello Dee!
If you check out my web-site (you can click on it via my page on the settersite) and look under my name you will see that I am a writer, illustrator and...and...
9 books published to date.
So its a fair mix of writing and drawing...and plenty of both. Sometimes more hysterical than others...
Yes I know what you mean about eggs bought from the shops...can not stand them and so the chickens will be the last to go...I just can not buy eggs.
GREAT weather now for the third or fouth week in a row, now we are worried about the hey-harvest, will there be enough? Never right is it?
Have a super day!
Do you have English as well? I'd have a house full of both if my husband would agree!! He has a Great Dane that I love dearly he is a typical Scooby Doo. My Irish, Barley, lies on him in his basket they get on very well, even though he can be a little clumsy with his big feet.
hi there im worn out 6 girls and 4 boys at the very last count.mum is well considering.ive had to ring a few people to let them know the news so the phone as been red hot. ive just been bed for a few hours as i was cold and stiff.she is coping ok she is a good little mum.
Just finished the last of a series of articles (its now 11.18 here) and I feel dead on my feet...
So a quick reply, yes you know Dee, I could NEVER be a farmer! Just the hay makes me nervous, and yet if it comes to the crunch, I could always buy some. But what if my income depended on it? No wonder farmers are constantly moaning! I would be too!
Hi Thank you for you pleasant comments. We were very pleased to have won under an English Specialist also. We had a great day winning many awards & BIS. Looking forward to seeing English dogs when we come to the UK (100th ISC of Englad show ) & the World Show in July.
Regards,
Anne-Marie Hearn "PENDORIC"
Dee, Thanks for the welcome. I just did some more updates on my page, added a photo album, joined some groups, and even created a new group. This is a nice set up! Let me know if you need help with your page.
But I know Dee, if I was a farmer I would most certainly moan as well! I have seen them on rainy cold summers and summers without any rain at all or rain at exactly the wrong time! Yes articles finished, now on to the next job...10 pretty difficult (and fairly boring) illustrations to do by the end of the week. Plus more in the pipeline. Relaxation is taking the dogs for a walk!
And a great way to relax as well.
thanks Dee we flew home lol, with a car full of winners mine , my friend Margaret won Limit dog and my other friend Sharron got the RCC so wooohooo what a day and i talked and talked,,,coss im a very quiet person anyone will tell you!!! lol
love Carol g
Ah Dee - it keeps your feet on the ground I wasnt showing but i did see a fair bit of the Irish judging and most of the Red & White. There were a few groans at ringside!
LOL "chins hitting the ground" Was that the sound I heard?
I am booked for BU and will be there as I am helping on one of the stands. I hope the weather is better than last year!
hi all is not to good at present just popped up for a breather, been vets and left little girl there , she is the last to be born not sure yet on pecking order ive got to ck that one out. a dog was last.she is very dehydrated and ive given her liquids and glucose and all my strength is zapped from her so ive to go back with the rest at 4.30, he could nt take us all this morning in fact i played the riot act they were busy all day i said this mum wants her puppy to live any how we will see what happens later.
I saw the photo from Ireland with your Jas, lovely one! Yes we had a lovely week, two best in show! It´s always fun to show the dogs to specialists, in Sweden e often have allrounders... All for now!
