  Thanks  for you comments on the  two veterans.   to those who know Quest well... know she can give  that look.   roll her eyes   when bored    give the glare if not going her way   to people who dont know her most give a double take  at some of her expressions   as a friend said a bit of  a drama queen...... Sassie is a peace maker ...all has to be right in her world.

Hi Chantal. Many thanks for the birthday message.  We're getting ready to go out for a lovely, long walk and then we'll settle down for an afternoon in the garden. 

The other day, we visited a litter of puppies so now we're getting ready to have a new ankle biter in the house so Benson won't know what's hit him!  I'm sure he'll cope!

Hi Chantal...just saw the picture David put on blog of Darwin with his bandaged paw...and the one taken after bandage was off.  Sorry if I missed posts of what happened to Darwin but happy to see him out and running about.  I much perfer the one of Darwin running!  as I am sure you all do also. Hugs!

Thanks, Chantal  I must say it's odd to hear the notion of  exoticism associated with anything American, least of all Mike and me  But  I can tell you that, during the Bush era, when I was performing a lot in the UK and Scandinavia, the adjectives folks found for Americans were not nearly so complimentary as that!  As a  person sympathetic to the sentiments of those days, I paid tribute to them by imparting to our beautiful lab, Ben, a bit of wisdom that affects his behavior outdoors to this day Have a look:

Giles arrived in Nairobi on 15 April and is adorable.  He is growing fast and eating like mad.  He has settled in well with our existing female adult Setter - the cat is not so sure about him though!
