Gratulacje za Nową Rudę! Fajnie, że spotkaliście się z Michaelą, na pewno było jej raźniej w gronie 'rodzinnym'.

Thats great that you would like to work with Palisander - I like working setters. And I'm very interested to read more about your trainings and field tests - and see some pictures ;-) I will crossed my fingers for April field test and I hope you enjoy the working & training with your Jonasz. Maybe Renata can help you with training too? I think she has much experiences in training with setters.
Best greetings from Michaela

Hello Ewa,

Thanks very much for paying complements to my photos ;-) It's just a hobby to take pictures of my dogs - I think its the same to you.

I dont want me to call a specialist in training setters. In autumn 2005 I get my first dog ever - my English Setter Sancho - and started to learn with him about hunting training. And now I am not on the end of learning - sometimes I feel I am just at the beginning and in some subjects I need teaching as you ;-)

On my way with Sancho (he dont likes to retrieve - also not in playing) I have learned a method to teach the dog to a safe retrieving. But this method need a lot of time, is seperated in a lot of learning steps and need a lot of repetions of each step. The first step for ex. is: the dog has to hold a dummy in his mouth without rebelling against it - first at home and in sitting and only seconds, later outside of home and by walking for many minutes.

Maybe you can give me your Mailadress (send it to me at working-gundogs@web.de ) and I try to explain the steps in english, maybe with photos - but needs a bit of time and english-knowledge (you know, my english is not very good).

It's a pitty that you are living so far away .. I think it would be better to meet us and I can show you how to train.

with kind regards
Michaela

Hello Ewa,
You wrote: "Jonas doesn’t want to take a dummy in his mouth." The main thing of the method is that Jonas has to learn: I MUST retrieve, also if I don't want it.
I would like to write more details to you about the first very important step - but I think it is better I wrote you an EMail. So where can I find your Mailadress?

hello, thanks for all the comments. i will ask Emese (kennel Berboss) what lens she used, it was her to take those lovely photos in sprint.
the "artistic" was done by me and my little Sony cybershot camera, and i have no idea how i did it, just pushed the button against the sun :-)))

hi ewa colour is fine please place them in your albumn.at first it looked a little strange but i think its because the more the disease as progressed the more illuminous they have become due to the light bouncing back from the retina.many thanks
