Hi Myra.

When is the actual D-day for Lupin puppies? Are you counting down the days? I hope everything goes well.
All the best!

Hi Sis and Lovely Lupin,
hugs and congratulations all round from 'cousin' Brodie and 'sisters-under-the-skin' Amy and Sophy. Also from Lucy the lab and the feisty tibbies. And from all of us humans as well.

Talk about the ups and downs of canine companionship...from the joy of Lupin's gorgeous litter to this awful news about Bumble. You know she had such a great life, and gave you and John so much joy. It is what it is all about, in the end. And the joy we get from them never seems greater than when we watch them simply enjoying life the way we should do every day. Bumble certainly enjoyed life! They teach us so much, don't they? It is the worst thing about dogs, that they just don't seem to ever live long enough. Bumble was a special, lovely girl.

Thank you for your comments on my Florida photos...it was great just doing very little appart from laying in the sun and getting a tan! And the sunsets were so brilliant all you had to do was point the camera...but now its back to grey and dark South of Sweden again...not to mention all the work that needs to be done.
Have seen that you are busy with your puppies. I am so happy all went well this time! Could not be better! :-)

Actually there were plenty of birds flying about, so you just had to wait for a short time. :-)
I suppose that was "no pets on the beach" does...loads of birds and pretty tame too!

I am not a great Christmas-fan at the best of times and with having been away for two weeks, the workload is just getting worse. And the darkness just makes me want to go to bed...instead of wanting to work.
Then there have been massive problems with Ivy (Alexandras horse - you know the big white mare) she got twisted intestines while I was in Florida and so ended up in emergency operation (took 6 hours and they had to remove 7 meters of intestines). The cost of this is beyond anything imaginable with dogs.
So far I am up to 127 000:- swedish crowns and its not quite over yet.
Only 20 000:- covered by the insurance as saving the foal was a massive cost as well. This coming weekend it will be Stockholm and selling + signing books.
So if I am not looking forward to Christmas as such, I am certainly looking forward to some time off!
Enjoy your garden!
It looks just wonderful!
Love
Ursula

Do you have any puppies at the moment. I lost my dog to gastric torsion a few months ago and am looking to get another dog to look at showing and obediance train.

Thank you for the comment on Ivy, I know that we love them all and they all leave a huge gap, but Ivy WAS very special to us...we are putting all our hopes on her foal...just back from Stockholm and worn out as always after one of those selling trips.
And it was cold too...so enjoy your weather Myra!
