We had that happen when we lost our first Irish girl very suddenly almost 8 years ago now. I will never forget her. She was very full on and definately your 'typical' Irish. She taught us everything about the Irish breed and she is why we love Setters so much today. My Irish girl Tess is like your Oliver. Very 'untypical'. She is very quiet and calm and just a delight to have in our family. She is my shadow. Megg (our English girl) is quiet & calm also, but a more independent nature. Both girls are the light of my life.
It's nice to be your friend.

It never ceases to amaze me how different they all are in character, even when they are closely related. Geordie, Fergus's son, is so like him to look at and also in lots of his ways, but he is also so very much like Flynn, who was only his Great Uncle. It's amazing how the genes jump the generations.

Camilla Östman then did a photoshop of Jeeves and put it out as a discussion.

No, no books translated in to english, but quite a few stories in the Dog World Annual. Amongst them one that Reni found and put on my page under comments. That one was about Crufts, and I was most pleased with the basset..
Hope you can find the photos...(and the piece on Crufts).
