Any recipe ideas for a dog birthday cake?

Reuben will be celebrating his first birthday on Saturday and I am determined to bake a doggy cake as my 5 yr old son demands it! Any ideas of what I can make??? My son is so excited about his Doobers puppy turning 1 years old and I can't possibly let him down...

For Liver cake, Put equal amounts of flour and eggs into mixer and add chopped liver, ( YOU may be saying yuk, I'M vegetarian )! even better if you add garlic....yummmmm! Bake for 25-30 minutes. Done!
