IR SH CH GWENDARIFF ROCK DIVA JW CW'10 belonging to MRS D STEWART-RITCHIE & MISS C NEILL won the Reserve Bitch CC yesterday at East of England Championship Show. Many congratulations to her.

Can someone please tell me what CW'10 means after her name? It is not something I have seen before.

CW'10 is Celtic Winner2010 and is an FCI award from one Show every year (ours is on St. Patrick's Day ) Other European countries have similar titles for their respective countries! The title goes to the winning dog and bitch(each breed) from this show each year. There is also a junior celtic winner at the same show for best junior dog and bitch and they get the title of CJW. Our first CW winners were in 2006 and the first Irish Red Setters to be awarded the title were GB Sh.Ch.& Sh. Ch. Gwendariff Dom Perignon CW'06 and Ch.&Sh.Ch. Glenrua Realtóg CW'06!!

On March 17th (St Patrick's Day) we have the Celtic Winners Championship Show. The Green Star winners get the title of Celtic Winner, CW with the year of the win, after their name. The Junior Class winners get Celtic Junior with the year after their name.

Most of the FCI Countries have similar titles.
