About Me:: Since several years Irish Setters have been part of my life. The love and complicity that we share has been transformed into a true passion.

First Chickadee makes her entry into my life, she was supposed to be a dog, but destiny decided otherwise, and it was not such a bad thing after all, pure joy of which I didn't quite realise the enormity. With her came the discovery of the dog world: shows, obedience and even hunting. The show virus was quickly acquired as at her first show Chickadee was best puppy in show. Enough to say that I didn't have to be pushed into becoming passionately addicted. I have enjoyed some great moments at the shows with Chickadee. In 2006, she was Europasiegerin at Dortmund, consecreted best bitch in Belgium by the Belgian Irish Setter club and third best bitch in Holland. Beginning of 2007 she became German Champion.

The 4th April she had her first pups in the kennel where she was born and one of her daughters Girly Girl came to live with us. Girly don't needs to prove her worth in the show ring. She is not only already a German Champion but also Belgian Junior Winner 08, Dutch Junior champion and in 2008 she won Best in Show at the Junior Day of the Belgian Irish Setter Club at just 17months with an entry of some 80 junior Irish. Lately at Bath at only 25 months show in England she wins her entry into the English Kennel Club Studbook and a life qualification for Crufts, a great achievement which can only make me even more proud of choosing Girly.

26.05.2010 My dream come true, my first litter and the 2nd for Chickadee ! She give birth to 12 puppies (10 boys & 2 girls). From this litter a boy stayed with us, he is named "Scott" Riverwood Jungle Rock" He is the son of Multi & Int Sh Ch Sametsuz Sunset. He has already did a great impression on show by winning a lovely 3th best baby in show and 5th best baby in show . . . he just grow up like I want, the future will tell us if I have reason to believe in him ! ! ! Way to go Scott . . .

Hi Charlotte - Fionni sends birthday hugs back to your Girly! It's nice that they've all got birthdays around the same time - Fionni, Girly and Jeremy ;-) Girly is one of my favourite bitches. I think she's beautiful and can't wait to see her as she matures. Your video of her was so sweet - I loved it!

Hi Charlotte, yes we are very proud of this litter. Same day Taboo also won his class in Erfurt and Guiness got his first CACIB and crufts qualification in Portorož. I have a new boy M'Eudail Apollo (son of Guiness) that we hope to show in next year.

I think that your girl is lovely, she has everything in the rite place. You are and should be very proud of her, I think that you will have a really good time in the ring with her and she will win anywhere you take here, if the judge knows anything about setters.
I also think that you take a lovely picture of the dogs...Miller, (Ami Pierrot) I think that the picture you took of him when he won the R.C.C the other day, was one of the best I have seen of him, You should be a professional Dog photographer. Dee and the girls

Hi,
I don't understand anything about expositions and I'm not attracted in Dog Shows. I'm not a breeder neither a dog showman. I'm only a simple Art Teacher but of courses the Shows are the only means to find goods dog race and were we can see so wonderful dogs.
Now it's not the best moment to think get a new dog in our home, because fathers’ health, but I'd like get some news about yours beauties setters.
It’s my desire to will get one under few years. Please send me some news about your beauty and yours future setters.

When mine are in fields of very high grass or crop, they leap up to see where they are going.Also they pounce on what must be field mice. All very entertaining.
They also leap about in the air across the field chasing butterflies.As a big group of Reds, it is a joy to watch.

He is going to to play around with some fieldwork and Obedience for awhile now while he grows up abit more, and then may hit the showring again. He finished his junior career this weekend taking two BOS at specialties over some very nice dogs. Now he want to have FUN while he matures!!! Joan
