    Hi Kirsty,

Firstly, let me aplologise as it was not my intention to cause you any offence but I would like to explain why I opened a thread on here.

At least 3 weeks before I posted the thread, I sent you a lengthy email, asking your advise on hip scores - what you classed as good, the best time to get it done, other testing required etc - but didn't have a reply. I looked for you on here but saw by the posting dates, that you were not on here that often so I hoped that whilst waiting for you to respond to my email, I could get some advise from the other members of the forum.

The only reason I mentioned Gemma's hip score, was that someone said a lot of it can come from the mother's score. There was no 'condemning' involved, I was just responding to a comment.

Darcey has been on the BARF diet - apart from a 2 month spell on Hills Natures Best to try put some weight on her after numerous busy bodies wanting to report me to the RSPCA, for her being 'too skinny' (you'll be able to see I had a thread on this) - for the whole time we have had her.

I would also like to stress the fact that we are thrilled with Darcey and she is firstly a family pet, the only reason we are thinking of breeding from her is that we would love to have a couple of her pups, as would some family members, not to make money. Everyone comments on what a loving, well behaved dog she is and I have recommended you to friends, family and complete strangers!

As I said at the beginning, I did not set up the thread to comdemn anyone and hope you accept my apology. Darcey is booked in for her x-rays on Friday (08/04), if this thread has already made you mind up as to whether you will lift the endorsement you have on her, please let me know before then, as I would hate to expose her to the risks of sedation unnecessarily.

I hope to here from you soon.

Hi Kirsty, hope you don't mind me asking but you were going to email photo of our Saffy (Romarne Sapphire)  to Lynn Muir ,which you took at Sutton Coldfield Show on 26 Feb at Coventry.  As you probably haven't had time yet, wonder if you can email it to me when you can.  coxyfreespirit@blueyonder.co.uk  Would really appreciate it as my camera was playing up that day!  Jan & I have just returned to showing after an absence of 10 years so we are trying to keep a photo record of Saffy's progress.

Good to see Gibbs hip score result, very good!  Pleased for you.  Expect you read Lynn's sad new that she lost Hayley (Saffy's mum), so young!  Regards Joan
