Happy Birthday, Sis!
Well hope the day improves, but sounds like it is all under control now.
Are you out for celebrations tonight?
Love and Hugs, M XXX
Thanks Carmel--he is from the Notnyl/Ornac Kennels--Lynton Cochrane and Sally Underwood. I hope your new puppies are going well.Seamus seems to be thriving--do you keep in touch with Jacky?
The Virtual Show...I have an entry form but not sure how to go about it, tried clicking on the overseas ''thing'' but nothing happened, and the entry is in Australian Dollars so don't know how to deal with that either.. maybe someone will let me know??? then of cause I have to get a picture on it, I am just not very good at this computer stuff, I will ask Nicole, she is on the site as well...
As for the things used on the dog:- Almond oil first.....Panten Ice shampoo.....Panten Ice conditioner......and then John Frieda......just before show.....water.....and drycoat, hope that it works for you, as I said it is all down to ''practice'' It may not work properly the first few times, but keep trying and keep manipulating the hair under the DryCoat it will work, eventually, Jas has a curly coat, and when I show her it just has a slight movement in it, I actually don't like the dead straight coat, the standers don't ask for dead straight, just ''as free from wave and curl as possible''
Good luck Dee and the girls, any tips for the entry form??? how to??? and try not to let your son go tell him he will be needed closer to home....in the place of the fire-fighters that have gone..
Hi Carmel
The DryCoat is a separate thing it is literally a coat that is made out of a kind of mesh and the coat will dry under it. You can see the head part of the coat on my pictures it is the one of Saffy and there are a lot of others in the ''comment strip below''
The John Frieda is a separate thing it is something that you rub into the back and the sides (ribcage area) and the neck. I will try and go into the site and find some and let you know just what I am talking about....
As for the fires we have just heard here today that they were set deliberately, the person that has done that needs to be put in a small place and set alight themselves that is the only fitting punishment.
Hi again Camel
If you have Google just type in (John Frieda/color envy sealer) it will come up to the large Web page... go to the third site down (If it is the same in Aus. as it is here) it is an Amizon.com site and there are deals on there or some of the other sites, in UK the first two are out of stock (sites that is) but easy to get, they are so much cheaper on these sits than the first one I bought, from a shop, many years ago....I think in the email that I sent I gave you the link for the DryDogCoat, just give her the dimensions if you want to buy, any difficulty give me a call.....so to speak...
Hi back Carmel, yes meeting lots of lovely friendly people here! Would love for Seamus to meet & play with another Irish Setter. He doesnt seem interested in other dogs much, but we mainly meet small dogs, the only one he was interested enough to play with was a greyhound. They had great fun chasing each other around the paddock! So if you are in touch with them, could you pass on my email address please? Have a great day, Cheers Jacky
I will try and find their address and phone number this weekend. They have been filed away and getting to them involves moving a TV. Brodie loves the little tibetan spaniels that we have here. Like father, like son.
Carmel
Sent you an email - just checking that you got it. The attachment was quite large, and I was worried your inbox might have had a meltdown! If you're okay to receive similar sized files, let me know. I have a few more pics to send, but will wait till I hear from you that you're okay to receive them :)
Hi Carmel
Chipping in regarding Colin Walker. He has been a Gundog breeder/exhibitor for more than 35 years. Best known for his English Cockers, but also American Cockers and has dallied with Irish Setters. I would guess he will probably like the American type - let me know how he does!
Thanks Carmel! I must say that we were quite surprised by the way she looked. She has been throw that ugly age and at that point we stop looking at them. Maybe a nice trim could do some more! Nice to see that your dogs have some Swedish connection! Really like the pic where a puppy stands at a bucket, so cute.
Hopefully Sophie is ok. Best to check, but I am sure all will be well.
Lupin is getting quite a tummy, and looking very fit.Ultra sound shows seven or eight babies - can you believe it?!!
Love and Hugs Sis,

Hi Carmel, Seamus is doing very well & ruling our household! He is so beautiful, in looks & nature! My grandkids love him as well as Mum & Dad. Though he was in trouble yesterday for sneaking into a waterhole when he was off leash & getting completely covered in black mud! He will be 2 soon! Will try & load up some new photos soon. Hope you and yours are all well. Stay safe, nice to hear from you. Cheers Jacky
Hi Carmel, I have everything crossed. I look forward to good news. Thanks for the comment on Clancy. He is maturing slowly. Still looking very juvenile in the body, but I think he is going to be lovely as he matures.
Many thanks for your comments on my photo's. I am very pleased that you enjoyed looking at them. About his breeding behind him is like that:
Father: Loving Red Big Ben
Grandparents from his father's side: Danaway Mulligan, Loving Red Lady's First Lady
Mother: Bea Izpod Belšce
Grandparents from the mother's side: Goldings Jeroboam, Red Ruby Ankaranska
How is in Australia at this time of the year? I saw some of the pictures of the sand storm, everything was orange. Did it reach your place too?
Hi Carmel,
Met a couple of your dogs this morning at the beach! Boston & Bentley who live at Carrara. They were born 4-9-2006. They looked so much like Seamus. So expect they were his brothers?? Took a photo, so will post when I get time to download my camera. They were very happy & healthy. Have a Happy New Year. Jacky & Seamus x
Thanks Carmel. My girl Georgie is by Scotslaw Detroit Spinner Bi Thendara out of Brabrook Waikiki Roamancer bred by Bev and ony Drinkwater. I love her to bits.
Hi Carmel, gee your quick! Yep finally got round to uploading the photos. One of them ? was so like Seamus in looks, just not quite so skinny as him. Glad to hear another brother heading this way. Hopefully will run into them one day. Feel free to give them my email address.
Thankyou, Ruby is certainly a special girl and quite the character. Rufus is the most cheekiest and very bubbly.
That would be wonderful to meet you with my reds, my family and I always like to bring our setters along with us for family events etc. We also attend the Sydney St. Patrick's parade each year and Ruby is involved in therapy work for Delta Society.
You are welcome Carmel. So good to hear that your place is not flooded! In TV we see so awful reports from australia. Here in Austria is still a litte snow. Take care Barbara
