It sounded strange to me as well coming from Italy but yes : it looks that even 3/4 degrees are still perfect for a bath for them if there are streams and puddles around ha ha !!
You will get use to ultra wet dogs in strong cold wind : setters think is simply perfect and ..hey wow how crispy and refreshing !! :)))

I have noticed that when it's really cold (~4 degrees) he doesn't go all the way in as much. I've discovered a worse problem - when it's warm (10 degrees) and there are no clean streams he will go and lay in disgusting muddy bogs to cool down! I am getting very used to a wet, and often muddy, dog!
