Jim Gion from Oregon did the head study. He worked so hard with me to get it just perfect....He is such a talented person to be able to capture the subtleties of each animal he does.

Hi Mary,

What a gorgeous bronze head study! As soon as I saw it on your page, I knew it had to be Jim Gion's work. We were set up very close to him at the National in Washington and I was dazzled by his work. The time and care that he puts into it shows it is obviously a work of love as well as remarkable talent!

Are you familiar with Leslie Hutto's work? I met her at the last Michigan National and have one of her exquisite bronzes of a single Irish on point. Maybe I will take a photo of it and put in on my page.
