Love the jammies :-) does it look like she is now and finally having her place in your bed :-) :-)
nice cuddly girl!
:-)))))))))))))))))
Have a good night ! !
I have to confess Chantal. Since moving in to the Caravan Bella has been allowed on to the bed for cuddles last thing at night and first thing in the morning, she is still kicked out when we want to go to sleep however. She is such a fidget, and regulalry likes to "make the bed" which involves us being pounded by a half asleep dog pawing at the duvet with real enthusiasm, digging away to get it just right regardless of the fact that we are under said duvet. Not conducive to a good nights' sleep and quite alarming when you are happily in slumber at 2am!
This is the point Liz!!! you have to let them sleep with you from baby puppies on to be able to all sleep in harmony. Poor Bella she has so much to catch up :-) :-) :-) oh and by the way, a dog can dreams very "energetically" and too bad if you are on the way... they also make noise, bark, sing, eat, and the best of all they snore :-) :-) have a good nice Liz :-)
Chantal, I now see that the mistake was entirely mine and I should have embraced Bella On The Bed sooner!! I know I am a meanie but I can't even have her in the same room when I want to go to sleep as I am quite a light sleeper and her pawing at the carpet wakes me too, plus she likes to check I am still breathing by periodically sticking her face in mine nose to nose. Either that or she wants to finish me off with a heart attack so she can lay claim to my half of the bed next to Mr B. Interestingly she never does it to him.
Liz did you read Suzanne Davis comment - Dear Dogs and To all non-pet owners who visit and complain ?
it is brilliant but no sure you will recognise Bella in it, she is far too much of a Lady! :-)
Glad you liked the "letter"! I must say we have always allowed the boys on the bed. There is certainly not room for all three but they do have quite a good routine of "turns". The problem comes when Finn will not get off and it is Saxon's turn - he gets on anyway and just drops until everyone has to move. We have made a bit of a rod for our own backs really and i am not joking, i was physically pushed out of bed this morning at 5.30am by my retriever :(( who said it was time to get up. Bella looks lovely in her bed time attire :)) You do need a darker colour duvet cover though ...
To give you the background Suzanne - Chantal has given me grief since Bella was a wee pup about the fact we didn't allow her upstairs, however this year we have been living in a Static Caravan whist we renovate our house and as we have found ourselves in a more restricted space some rules have been relaxed (OK, I admit it.... I forgot to close the bedroom door and explorer Bella discovered Human Beds. She is now a convert and if I am going out and leaving her behind I find I have barely got the door locked before I see her disappearing off up to the bedroom end of the Cara with a waggy tail!). What will happen when we are back in the house is yet to be determined but my Stair Company are making me a new stairgate to match my new staircase..... I can hear you all now saying "Poor Bella"
Chantal - you have a beautiful pair of rose tinted spectacles on if you think Bella is a Lady..... please advise where I can purchase such a pair xx
