Hi Dorne,
Welcome on this site! I have not seen you recently at any of the shows, are you coming down to Bournemouth in August? It is a long way for you.
Welcome to the site, Dorne. It is a pleasure to meet so many Irish Setter people from around the World, something I found amazing, having recently attended the World Show in Stockholm. 21,000 dogs representing 56 countries.
I mentioned on the Blog post about Sybil Lennox having passed away, that I was honoured to have had her show her dogs under me. My type has always been Wendover, but nevertheless the Brackenfield Irish are a major part of Irish Setter history, and Miss Lennox did so very much for the breed. She will be sadly missed, and your book will be well worth waiting for.
Best Wishes with it - I have long working connections with bookshops and publishers, and a very large library here at Amhurst. My passion, and Uni studies are in the Forensic area!
Cheers,
Myra.
Merry Christmas to you and your Family, Dorne.
Pleased to hear you enjoyed your time at Sybil's, with her brother. I expect she will always be a presence there, and a very comforting one.
If you give me your private email address, we can have a chat about the book.
Happy New Year - enjoy all the festivities.

Hi Dorne, many thanks for your message. I had all the family here for Xmas Day Lunch and it went well. All is back to normal now and we are off to France tomorrow for 10 days. The dogs are staying here at home with their usual sitter. Wishing you a very Happy New Year. Cathy

Hi Dorne, good to see you here, Alex and Scott have been away to Centre Parcs this week so Alfie Bracco has been staying with his 'Grannie'. He certainly enlivened the house.
Alex is looking forward to getting him out to his first show on the 29th, I'm sure she'll keep you posted about how he does.
See you soon, Dawn Riddell.
