We foster Setters for Save Our Setters. I live with my father who has had Irish Setters for over 70 years. Together we decided to do what we could to help those in need, so we signed up with S.O.S. to be foster parents.

Save Our Setters is holding their annual Halloween Costume Contest. If you have an Irish Setter, Gordon Setter, English Setter, or Irish Red & White Setter then you are eligible to enter. The prize for the winner is a $30 on-line pet supply coupon. Check out the details here.

Welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy it here. Looking forward to seeing your photos. Thank God for people like you, Irish Setters need you, it is very important work that you do.
Best wishes,

I cannot imagine what possessed the breeder to dump a puppy at the shelter. I just despair as to the things that some of these so called 'loving breeders' do. The worse thing that I have produced, is an undershot jaw, (I have to say that was back in the 70's and those lines are no longer) but I practically gave him away, and he was the best shaped dog in the litter, always the way...he was loved by his owner, he would have breakfast with them, boiled egg and soldiers, at the table after he had helped his owner do his early deliveries, he was a coal man. I think that your girl also ''fell on her feet'', well done you. There are a few on ES that are foster mums and dads, fantastic jobs, and you are an adopted parent, congratulations.
